Dr. Brett is a native of Iowa and has practiced for over a decade in the Des Moines metro. In the past 15 years he has served as the personal chiropractor for athletes from the NFL, NASCAR, UFC, MLB, Olympics and numerous levels of the NCAA. Over the last 10 years he has opened 6 clinics and developed over a dozen doctors in that time. Brett enjoys working with clients that lead an active lifestyle and want to get more out of themselves on a daily basis.

He and his wife Andrea have 3 kids, too many animals to count and enjoy keeping life simple and spending time doing things that matter. 

Dr. Heller attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, and completed advanced training in spinal bio-mechanics and rehabilitation. He completed his post-graduate internship with one of the country’s leaders in scoliosis care and disc rehabilitation before beginning practice in 2000. Dr. Heller is results-oriented and his goal is to help people not only feel better, but to also work towards correcting the source of their problem. Over the last two decades, he has helped countless individuals and families improve their lives and health through chiropractic. He specializes in disc degeneration, bulging or herniated discs, scoliosis, migraine headaches, numbness or tingling in arms/legs, and low back pain.

Dr. Lydia knew from the age of 12 that she wanted to be a Chiropractor after suffering a brain injury which resulted in temporary/partial paralysis, learning disabilities and swelling within vital organs. Dr. Brett was the doctor who diagnosed and treated her, which is whom she got her passion from. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science from Central College and continued her education at Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO - graduating Magna Cum Laude with Honors. Dr. Lydia focused her studies on Acupuncture, athletes, pregnancy and pediatrics. She is certified in Pediatric Experience, Acupuncture and Webster Technique, as well as a BirthFit Coach. She is the Team Chiropractor for a local gym and is currently working towards her Masters of Science in Chiropractic Pediatrics. Dr. Lydia leads an active lifestyle in her spare time whether she is at the gym or training for various athletic events with her husband, Daniel.

Dr. Rachel is our Functional Medicine provider who is passionate about empowering patients toward optimal wellness. Through her own health experiences, she discovered Functional Medicine and the incredible impact it can have on many. Dr. Rachel was born and raised in Johnston, Iowa. She attended Drake University where she played collegiate soccer. She then attended Cleveland University – Kansas City where she received her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree and graduated valedictorian of her class. She entered chiropractic school knowing her ultimate goal was to practice Functional Medicine. She knew she wanted to help people discover the root-cause of their issues and implement an individualized approach to healing. Dr. Rachel is a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner through the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM).

Brittany Epple graduated from Body Wisdom Massage Therapy School in 2009. Brittany loves helping people, and through massage, whether it's stress relief or to break down stubborn muscle tension, she strives to elevate your health and way of life. Brittany uses a wide variety of modalities, including Swedish techniques and trigger point therapy to treat her clients, knowing that everyone's body is different, and she will adjust to each of your specific needs.

John Bisenius is a Mental Health Counselor, born and raised in Northwest Iowa. John attended community college in Northwest Iowa, then transferred to Iowa State University where he got a bachelor’s degree in psychology. John went back to graduate school at Drake University after several years working with families, children, staff, and community support services. At Drake University, John obtained his master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and has been licensed since 2015. John has worked in group practices and private practice, and has supervised newly licensed therapists. John has developed a passion for helping people rewrite the narratives impacting them, as well as understanding the connection between mental and physical health. John works with many populations, primarily pre-adolescents and above, neurodevelopmental disorders (ASD/ADHD), trauma, men’s mental health, depression, and phase of life issues.

Outside of work, John loves spending time with his wife and two children, cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones. He also likes reading, golfing, and attending trainings.

Renee takes her love for people and attention to detail and puts it to amazing use as the face of the practice when you walk in. She is a native of Mason City. She has also operated child development centers in the past prior to her healthcare career. She loves spending time with her family and camping!

Jenni grew up in southern Iowa and did her college at NWMSU and ISU. She has lived in West Des Moines for the last 11 years and worked in the healthcare fields during that time.  Jenni's favorite things are reading, traveling and spending time with my husband, son and extended family.

Andrea grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and graduated from Kennedy High School. She then received her bachelors degree in Kinesiology from New Mexico State University where she was a member of the swimming and Diving team.

Andrea moved to Des Moines where she met Dr Brett. They were married in 2015 and now live in Dallas County with their 3 children, 2 crazy dogs, 2 cats, 2 goats, 5 horses and a herd of chickens.
